Doctor Major General Khalid Abdulla Al Bu-Ainnain Al Mazrouei is a highly accomplished former Commander of the UAE Air Force and Air Defence, with over 33 years of distinguished military service and participation in five wars. He currently serves as an advisor to H.H Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan President of UAE and holds key leadership roles across major national organizations, including the UAE Space Agency and EDGE Group. Renowned for leading multi-billion-dollar defense, technology, and space programs, he has played a pivotal role in advancing the UAE’s strategic capabilities, innovation, and international partnerships.

Doctor Maj. Gen. Khalid Abdulla Mubarak Al Buainnain Al Mazrouei Function:

  • Was formal UAE Air Force and Air Defence Commander.
  • Currently he is advisor for the Office of HH Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan the UAE President the Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces since January 2017.
  • Board member in the UAE Space Agency.
  • Board member in Tawazun Company.
  • President of the Strategic project in EDGE Company


Dr. Gen. Khalid undertook various positions and posts along 33 years career in UAE Air Force and Air Defense (AFAD), which led him to take the position of UAE AFAD Commander. Dr. Gen. Khalid participated in five Wars.

In addition to the key posts during his career he commanded, Dr. Gen. Khalid directs, manages and lead Multi-Billion programs for UAE government in the following:

  • Aircraft/ Systems Acquisition Programs (France, USA, Russia…..)
  • Multi-Nations New Research and Development Unified Projects (Eastern-Western Companies, Multi-European Companies).
  • Mega programs in System Integration and System Engineering.
  • Communication Program (Airborne and Land Based Secured Network Systems)
  • Advance Information Technology and IT Security Program.
  • Remote Sensing, Space Program and Command and Control Program.
  • Creation and Development of first R&D Faculties in UAE.
  • Creation and Development of First Advanced Flight Test Centres in UAE.
  • Creation and Development of First Advanced Digital war gaming and simulation centres in UAE.
  • Creation and Development of First Advanced Air War Centres in UAE.
  • Support UAE Academic Institutions/ Universities in Applied Research Program.
  • Financing, Controlling and Managing and Financial Engineering of National and Multi-National Mega Projects.


Dr. Gen. Khalid possesses large experience and knowledge, all of which provided an added value in his managing, organizing, and controlling UAE major and Mega programs. He acted as a strong contributor in the build up and consolidation of excellent relationships between the worldwide industrial figures and the UAE higher authorities through his worldwide network connection. He demonstrated as well as a strong leadership, Visionary and a wise team leader who acted with competence and wisdom as:

  • Program Director and Main Negotiator of contracts from Technical, Financial, and Legal as well as National strategic contractual aspects like Offset and Development Program.
  • Defining the requirements, concept definition, defining the overall Concept of Operation, Defining the System Engineering and bringing the right solutions based on the Wide and wise vision he possesses.


Dr. Gen. Khalid has become a well- known speaker for National as well as Multi-National Seminars, Conferences and Exhibitions and has gained innovative concepts and system solution and approach in addition of his participation at organizing of Regional and International Events, Seminars and Conferences in UAE and he is Chairing one of well established Regional Think-Tank Institute for Defense and Security research and Study.

Dr. Gen. Khalid has received 26 awards and merits nationally, regionally and internationally for his competence, integrity and wide spectrum of knowledge.

Dr. Gen. Khalid after his retirement he participated officially in many government agencies as:

  • Board member in Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce for 4 years.
  • Board member in Abu Dhabi Economic Development Cancel for 4 years.
  • Head of Abu Dhabi Industrial Development Committee in Abu Dhabi Economic Development Cancel for 4 years.

H.E Dr. Ali Rashid AlNuaimi

Dr. Ali Rashid AlNuaimi serves as Chair of the Defence, Interior, and Foreign Affairs Committee at the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates, where he contributes to advancing the UAE’s national priorities and reinforcing its position as a global model of stability, development, and constructive international engagement.
On the international stage, he represents the UAE within the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), where he chairs the Gender Partnership Group and contributes to trengthening dialogue and cooperation among nations. He previously served as Vice President of the IPU, further advancing the UAE’s role as a bridge-builder in global
diplomacy.


Rooted in the UAE’s vision of coexistence and human fraternity, Dr. AlNuaimi is the Founding Chairman of the Manara Center for Coexistence and Dialogue, a UAE-based institution dedicated to fostering dialogue, empowering youth, and strengthening social cohesion. Through its initiatives, Manara reflects the UAE’s commitment to building a society grounded in mutual respect, shared values, and collective responsibility.

Further advancing the UAE’s humanitarian legacy, he is the Founding Chairman of the Al Mubarah International Charitable Association, a UAE-based organization focused on delivering aid, supporting vulnerable communities, and promoting global solidarity in line with the nation’s enduring commitment to humanitarian action.


In support of the UAE’s global outreach and inclusive vision, Dr. AlNuaimi serves as Founding Chairman of the World Council for Muslim Communities, working to promote inclusive citizenship, strengthen national belonging, and support the positive integration of Muslim communities worldwide.

His contributions to nation-building are deeply anchored in education. He previously served as Chancellor of the United Arab Emirates University and as Head of the Department of Education and Knowledge at the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, where he led transformative reforms aimed at empowering future generations and
reinforcing a strong sense of national identity in line with the UAE’s long-term development vision.

Dr. AlNuaimi has also played a key role in advancing the UAE’s message of dialogue and peaceful coexistence through his service as Secretary-General of the Muslim Council of Elders, and as the Founding Chairman of Hedayah, the International Centre of Excellence for Countering Violent Extremism, where he continues to support global partnerships focused on prevention, education, and community resilience.

At the core of Dr. AlNuaimi’s work is a human-centered approach to public service, one that places people, communities, and shared values at the heart of policy and practice. He has consistently championed initiatives that bring communities closer together, strengthen social cohesion, and contribute to the public good, reflecting the UAE’s vision of a unified, inclusive, and forward-looking society.

He is also the author of several influential works, including Ancient Hatred, Modern Medium, Diversity and Coexistence, Political Islamism: Myth and Reality, and The National State, contributing to global intellectual discourse on identity, society, and the role of the nation-state.

He is Member of Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates, where he contributes to advancing the UAE’s national priorities and reinforcing its position as a global model of stability, development, and constructive international engagement.

Most notably recognized as the Chairman and Founder of Aspin Holding LLC and AHK Holding LLC. His business has transformed him into the magnate he is, an influential businessman of reckon both locally and internationally. Ahmed Mir Hashim Ahmed Khoori is a well-respected and distinguished leader in Corporate UAE, with experience spanning over 37 years in strategic management, client experience and customer satisfaction. During this time, he did receive notable recognition for ensuring results delivery at one of the most reputable international airlines. Besides his role in the corporate realm, he oversees a conglomerate of property development and management, and other investment holdings in the UAE and overseas, in his capacity as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. His other interests include consultancy, sponsorships, and philanthropy.

Over the past 37 years, Mr. Khoori played an active role _working with one of the world’s leading airlines, Emirates Airlines, collaborating with the Department of Civil Aviation, Airport Authorities, and Ground Handling Agents at Dubai International Airport. He also played a key role in developing and executing business plans to drive revenue growth, establish profitable business units within airport services, and forge strategic partnerships with service Providers to align with the airline long-term objectives.

Sara is a Member of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates, serving since 2019. She currently holds the position of Vice Chair of the Defence, Interior, and Foreign Affairs Committee, where she contributes to shaping national policy on security, diplomacy, and international cooperation. At the global level, she represents the Arab Group as a Board Member of the Committee on Middle East Questions within the Inter-Parliamentary Union. She also leads the UAE’s Parliamentary Friendship Committee with European Parliaments, playing a key role in strengthening bilateral relations and advancing parliamentary diplomacy.

 

In parallel to her public service, Sara is actively engaged in the private sector as Chief Real Estate Officer at Falaknaz General Enterprises, a family-owned business with a diversified investment portfolio. Prior to her election, she served as Chief Global Innovation Officer at DP World, one of the world’s leading port operators, where she drove strategic innovation initiatives across global markets. Earlier in her career, she held the position of Executive Director of Operations at Dubai Holding, overseeing large-scale operational and development projects.

 

Sara holds a Master’s degree from King’s College London and has completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School, London Business School, and IMD. She is widely recognized for her leadership at the intersection of public policy and business, with a strong focus on innovation, international cooperation, and sustainable economic development. She continues to champion initiatives that empower youth, foster cross-border collaboration, and position the UAE as a global hub for forward-looking policy and investment
